IceShell Ice Shell / Ice Dome
The ice shell is thin, and its structural material is ice. It is a new type of ice structures based on the modern structural engineering and it can cover a larger area compared to the classical snow-ice structures such as “Kamakura” or “Igloo” because of its high structural efficiency. It creates a fantastic, beautiful space providing quite a unique built environment in winter.
